I am Adwoa Baidoo- Williams, currently married to Henry (the love of my life) and we are blessed with three beautiful children Ethan, Arielle, and Elsa.

I hold a bachelor of Pharmacy degree and practiced as a licensed Pharmacist for 8 years in Ghana, West Africa. I took a” break ” from work to raise and take care of our kids when my husband completed his Ph.D. program. While at home I have been preparing to go back to school ( hopefully for a Ph.D. as am the only person without a post-graduate degree in my family, haha.)

I love the Lord and was raised by beautiful and God-fearing parents. I really enjoyed my childhood years as our home was always full of love, laughter, and life. I will always be grateful for that. I am the last of three children and so I had all the attention I needed from both my parents and siblings.

Growing up, my Dad was excited about the topics; Investment and savings. He got invited on many occasions to speak on this topic. During this time, he did his best to encourage us (my siblings and I)to start investing financially at an early age.

As an adult, I have come to appreciate not only the importance of financial investments but also investing by devoting my time and effort in my
1.family (children, marriage, and home)
3. Spiritual life
4. Health
5. Social life ( Friendships and relationships)

Finding myself at home has been a learning process for me and a time to invest in my marriage and in the lives of my children. When we lost our precious Mum, we were pregnant with our first and I thought to myself  ”how am I going to make it without her around?” Now we have 3 and I get a lot of friends asking me how I do it and still keep my sanity. I started searching online finding out how Moms like me were pulling through and even working from home as well. I came across a lot of useful information and resources, among them were the 3 Strategies to Stop Feeling So Overwhelmed, how to Make over your mornings and Your Blogging University courses by Crystal Paine. I was so inspired and challenged by her. I also began talking to my terrific friend Dr. Gertrude Nonterah, a freelance health writer and a blogger. She encouraged me and gave me a few guidelines to follow and that was when “AJ invest from home” was started.

I enjoy spending time with my family

I hope to learn a lot on this journey, be my guest as we journey along
